Cutouts

Full Cutout

3/24/2011 – 6:03 PM

Canon EOS REBEL T2i

F-stop f/4.5

ISO 1600

SS 1/2000 sec

Here is a shot I took of my shoe just out on my back porch. Lucky to have good lighting today so for this shot I did no post editing. The photo was nice and crisp so it was easy to get a good selection around it. I put it on a white background and did a little feathering but not much.

Partial Cut

Canon EOS REBEL T2i

SS 1/4000 sec

Heres the partial cut of my shoe. This shot didn't look as nice as the first shot so I did a little level fixing. I shot this shot so there was a fence line in the background so I would have a good place to cut along. Once again it worked out well due to the crispness of the photo.

This photo was taken on a family trip to St George UT. Not much post work on it besides a little level work. It was really good evening light that just made everything come together.

This shot was taken the same day as the above shot. It is my dad with my nephew throwing rocks. Once again, thanks to the lighting, levels was all that was done to this shot.

Taken awhile back at one of my favorite beaches in CA. This bird came about 2 ft from me and became my model from about an hour. Really cool shots. Once again really good evening lighting. All i did was levels and a little contrast work.

Same bird as above. My favorite shot from the shoot. I messed with the levels and desaturated it. Thats about all. This bird was great. i didn't have a good lens for macro shots that day. I wish I did because he let me get about 2 inches from his face with my camera.
